Breathing Apparatus and Respiratory Protection Products
Always store in a cool, dry area, Carry out a full inspection and pre-use check before using the equipment. The equipment should only be used by a competent person trained in the use of it. Where applicable the equipment should be thoroughly cleaned after each use (see Instructions for Use).
Instruments - Portable and Permanent
MSA portable and fixed instruments are for use by trained and qualified personnel. They are designed to be used when performing a hazard assessment to:
- Assess potential worker exposure to combustible and toxic gases and vapours.
- Determine the appropriate gas and vapour monitoring needed for a workplace.
Portable and fixed gas detection instruments should have their response checked at regular intervals with known gas concentrations to ensure correct operation and to determine if adjustment or repair is necessary.
